From the back cover

After an all-nighter finishing a group assignment, a student wants nothing but sleep. Her roommate Ronda Jones storms into the dorm, shouting into a headset, and when the power cuts out, a five-dollar electricity bill becomes the excuse she has been waiting for. The student refuses to split it.

Ronda tears back her blanket, mocks her for sleeping naked, and smashes her limited-edition headphones. When the student finally sends money, Ronda rejects it and demands five dollars more. Then her laptop vanishes, and a campus forum post offers it for five bucks.

With Vicky Frey siding with Ronda and class and finals at stake, the student calls the police, and Ronda lunges for the phone.

When I quietly asked her to keep it down, she turned on me instead.
