After being passed over for a management position for the fifth time, Patty finally agrees to her mother's nagging request to come home. The reason: she has just overheard her boss and boyfriend, Chad Shaw, calmly explaining that he keeps her dangling with cheap affection while giving the owner's daughter the promotions she wants.
