I Funded Her Dream, He Got the Feast

From the back cover

For ten years, Gabriel stood by Natalie Prescott as she built a fortune worth hundreds of millions, giving up his own career to manage her household and handle everything behind the scenes. Yet she never once takes him anywhere a meal costs more than 100 dollars a person, insisting that frugality is a virtue they must not lose sight of.

When he goes to cancel their anniversary reservation, Gabriel spots Natalie in the very steakhouse she refused, cutting up a steak for Ryan Mitchell, the company's 21-year-old intern. The server explains that the two come every Saturday, and that Natalie taught Ryan himself how to use a knife and fork. Outside, Ryan drapes her in blue roses, the flowers Natalie once dismissed as impractical and overpriced when Gabriel asked for them at their own wedding.

Gabriel keeps the reservation and orders the most expensive tasting menu, eating alone while Natalie's messages demand he come home and pack her bags for a business trip. At the house where only her name is on the deed, a pipe leaks again, and he can no longer bring himself to clean it up.
