On a stormy night during the apocalypse, Hannah is thrown out of her home by her mother, Linda Carter, who wants to save the last fever pills for Hannah's brother, Tyler Jackson. Hannah is dragged to the door and cast into the zombie-infested hallway with only her husky, Duke, the dog her late father left her.

Hounded by the undead and refused help by her neighbours, Hannah flees with Duke to the rooftop, where she is trapped in the rain with no food or water. Linda spots her from a window and demands she hand over hidden supplies, while the zombies below are drawn by the shouting.

Then Duke speaks, activating an Infinite Supply Search System that detects food and medicine nearby. With nothing left but her dog, Hannah must decide how to survive what comes next.

She shouted through the crack in the door, “Take that useless mutt and go die somewhere. Stop wasting your brother’s food!”

I huddled in a pile of trash with my dog in my arms, convinced I was going to die.

Then my husky suddenly spoke.

“Supermarket warehouse one hundred meters ahead. Three thousand freeze-dried meals detected.”

“Pharmacy five hundred meters to the left. Five hundred boxes of antibiotics detected.”

Three days later, I’d built a fortress with packs of dogs and mountains of supplies.
