She calls Ethan for help, but he dismisses her, telling her to be good because Lily needs peace. The blade sinks into her chest, and her last words are a whispered craving for strawberry cake.

The blade sank into my chest. Gagging on the metallic taste of blood, I whispered, "I want strawberry cake."

"Chloe, stop throwing tantrums."
