Three years into their marriage, Theo Aldridge has grown used to a strange pattern: every package his wife Linnea orders ends up delivered to her ex-boyfriend, Grant Tierney. The anniversary gift meant for Theo, the Valentine's surprise, even a simple cup of coffee — all of it goes to Grant's address, and Linnea always waves off his frustration as pettiness.

When a holiday gift box meant for his parents is sent to Grant again, Theo finally messages his lawyer to draft a divorce agreement. He spends the holiday alone at his parents' house, covering for Linnea, then sees Grant's social media post showing the gift unwrapped and plated — with Linnea's hands in the photos and her wedding ring gone.

Linnea returns with opened, stained clothes meant for his parents and a dinner reservation at a restaurant Theo dislikes, where Grant is already waiting. Theo begins to wonder whether the misdelivered packages were ever mistakes at all.
