Seducing The Man Who Bought Her

From the back cover

Jocelyn's marriage collapses when she learns her husband Mark has been unfaithful, and that her own sister Brittany arranged the affair. Confronted, Brittany refuses to apologize, insisting a successful man simply has options and that Jocelyn drove him away. Worse still, Brittany has spent two years hiding the betrayal, supplying alibis and concealing the evidence.

So Jocelyn sets her sights on Brittany's wealthy benefactor, Pierce Davenport, tracking him to an exclusive lounge and deliberately drawing him into her bed. When he wakes and asks what she wants, she dismisses him with icy indifference, knowing a man pursued for his money cannot resist a woman who seems not to need him. Pierce sends his private number, then a hotel address.

Returning home, Jocelyn finds Mark ransacking the house for valuables while Brittany cheerfully helps him, urging him to take the furniture and her grandmother's jewelry. As the two block her from her own living room, Jocelyn quietly connects to the police and waits, her attention fixed on the messages arriving from Pierce.
