Cameron has never been close to Claire Parker, a coworker in Finance, so she is stunned when Claire announces her pregnancy and demands that Cameron take responsibility for the baby. Claire insists that a single casual compliment about how Claire and her ex looked good together is the reason she slept with him, and therefore Cameron owes her. The demands escalate from paying for an abortion to covering Claire's workload, even though Cameron works in Marketing and owes her nothing.

When Cameron refuses, Claire uses her access in Finance to take Cameron's entire salary and bonus, calling the stolen money compensation. Cameron, determined to recover the four thousand dollars she earned, drags Claire to Mr. Leedon's office to report the theft.

Cornered, Claire bolts from the office, and Cameron and Mr. Leedon give chase.
