When Dorothy stands on a rooftop edge, Kyrie arrives and slaps her, asking who gave her permission to die. He drags her home, where his new companion orders her to kneel and put on her socks. Dorothy refuses, but Kyrie forces her down, reminding her of her younger brother Ivan Howell, who lies in a hospital bed battling heart disease and leukemia. Bound by Ivan's medical bills, Dorothy has no choice but to depend on Kyrie, who uses her only family to keep her trapped in humiliation.
