A mother is picking her son Leo up from school when a speeding Porsche strikes the boy, sending him flying. As she kneels on the asphalt begging bystanders to call for help, the driver, Tiffany Vance, stays in her seat touching up her lipstick and phones Mr. Sterling to rescue her. Within minutes, black SUVs block the intersection and six bodyguards form a wall, refusing to let the ambulance near Leo until liability is determined. When the mother screams the name Victor Sterling, insisting the injured boy is his biological son, Tiffany laughs it off as a scam, and Victor himself dismisses the call after his nanny, Martha, lies that his wife and son are safely at home.

With Leo coughing blood and slipping unconscious, the bodyguards draw batons on bystanders who try to intervene. Tiffany offers to let the ambulance through only if the mother kneels and licks the dust from her heel. She kneels, but Tiffany kicks her down and mocks her instead, leaving the child to wait for the lawyer while his mother's pleas turn to fury.
