From the back cover

Chloe has loved Arthur since they were children in the military family compound, and after seven years of deep love she forgave him when he was drugged and slept with a new female communications officer before their wedding. For five years they rebuilt their trust and became the loving couple everyone envied, until the night Arthur was promoted to Major General. Chloe flew eleven hours to surprise him, only to overhear him with a woman in his office — the same communications officer from years ago.

Arthur hides the truth, claims his comrades invited him out to celebrate, and returns to the dorm only to fetch something the woman forgot. The tactical watch Chloe gave him and their photo on the fridge are gone. A neighbour even assumes she is chasing a married man. Fleeing to the military airport, Chloe searches the forum and finds the woman's profile picture — taken inside Arthur's own dorm.

After thirty years, Chloe must decide what remains of a vow he swore to keep.

Inside the book Opening excerpt

My childhood sweetheart, the husband who loved me more than life itself, was set up and ended up sleeping with the new female communications officer.

After the drug wore off, the first thing he did was drag the girl in front of me, knelt down, and said I could punish him however I saw fit.

After seven years of deep love, I treated it as an accident, softened my heart, and forgave him.
