While closing a deal out of state, Grant Coleman receives a text about a five-million-dollar Patek Philippe watch ordered in his wife Isabelle's name. The messages vanish, and the next day the watch appears on the wrist of Leo, Isabelle's young assistant, who calls it a bonus for hard work. Grant has security discard it and orders Leo fired, but Isabelle shields the intern, insisting the gift was a misunderstanding and that Leo is innocent.

Grant slaps her and suspends every supplementary card under her name, demanding his personal approval for her spending. A wall of ice forms between them, and Isabelle stays away for a week while Grant pours himself into a partnership with Apex Industries, preparing a flawless proposal for the signing ceremony.

Yet when he enters the conference room, Isabelle and Leo are already there, laughing with Mr. Harrison, the CEO of Apex. The contract is signed, and Leo claims the proposal as his own, with Grant's files wiped and a cloud login traced to Isabelle. As Leo presses the contract toward him, Grant must prove who truly did the work.

“Wrong number,” I replied.

“No mistake,” they insisted. “Your wife ordered it.” The invoice showed Isabelle’s payment, but the recipient’s name was smudged.
