Determined to survive the shift, he blurts warnings, drags his partner to confront Lily, and exposes Mr. King, the refined man she calls her cousin. The wife is two months pregnant, though the partners were overseas for three; Mr. King admits the child is his, and Lily declares she loves both men. The partner forgives her anyway. Then a shot hits the hitman's back—his own Boss, furious at slackers.

Quitting only earns him more gunfire. Between a partner who kills him, a Boss who kills him, and a client who wants to cancel, every loop tightens the noose.
