Adrian Chen has been married for two years, and his wife has known him for ten. When a girl named Wendy—a student his parents sponsored—adds her on SnapChat and calls him "daddy", the wife's quiet evening of overtime turns strange. Wendy claims she can't bear to see the wife kept in the dark, and deliberately leaves her underwear in Adrian's car to lure her into catching him cheating.
Wendy arrives at their home, clinging to Adrian's arm and calling him "honey", while he coldly orders her to sleep on the couch and find her own place by morning. She turns to the wife for help, insisting girls should help girls, then asks to share her bed—and freezes when she learns the couple sleep in separate rooms.
By 3 AM a crash and Wendy's crying wake the house, and the wife steps out to find her sobbing and grabbing at Adrian's sleeve.
