The Other Woman's Lacy Secret: A Tale of Betrayal

From the back cover

In her third year of marriage to Lucas, Sherry Chen finds a chat log on his phone. The contact is saved as "Little Puppy," and the messages are flirtatious; a photo arrives showing pink lace. When Sherry answers the phone with a voice message, Lucas snatches it back and accuses her of going through his phone. He comforts the tearful girl, then leaves. Beside the door stands a cabinet holding seven shelves of Bulgari necklaces, his apology gifts over three years.

Sherry was eight when she became the true heiress of the Chen family, where her parents favored the fake heiress, Tara. Lucas was Tara's childhood sweetheart until Sherry appeared. He protected her fiercely, and she believed she was his future wife. After their wedding, his betrayals began; each scandal brought another necklace. Now he has brought a new secretary, Tiffany, into their home and handed her one of Sherry's wedding dresses.

As Tiffany tries on the cheongsam, Sherry suddenly cannot understand Lucas anymore.
