Liam has a plan: marry a wealthy heiress, then make her disappear. His wife Chloe is clumsy, easily frightened, terrible with directions and hopeless at remembering phone numbers, so when they are separated in the rural Midwest he expects her to be helpless. Instead she simply asks strangers for help, and his scheme collapses.

Undeterred, he takes her to Africa, where his boss has assigned him Samuel, an elite hitman posing as a taxi driver. The resort staff warn that lions roam the desert at night, and Liam encourages Chloe to go out and feed them herself.
