A wealthy wife takes her husband, Arthur, to a spa for a treatment, only for the outspoken owner to leer at him and mock her body, insinuating she is a retired escort who has borne children. The wife had already told the owner that she and Arthur have no children for health reasons, yet the woman keeps pressing, and Arthur says nothing in her defense.

When the wife steps out and overhears the owner telling Arthur his wife was a prostitute whose abortions ruined her body, she confronts them, reveals she recorded every word, and threatens a defamation suit and a refund of the hundred-thousand-dollar VIP membership. The owner's fawning apologies and her deliberate press against Arthur confirm the wife's suspicion: the woman is angling to take her husband.

Arthur, a kept man living off his wife's money, later asks her to let the whole thing go for the sake of his dignity. She leaves him behind at the office, determined to settle the score.
