Arthur's phone rings while he is driving his pregnant wife Serena to a prenatal appointment, and a woman's voice asks him to divorce her. He ends the call without a word, but that night his lawyer arrives with divorce papers. Serena signs calmly, and Arthur, unsettled by her composure, offers her the house and promises compensation.
At the courthouse the next morning, the agreement has grown, and Arthur suddenly wants to eat with her, open doors for her, and keep the baby. Yet when a woman in a white dress waits outside their gate in the rain, he orders Serena out of the car and drives off with her.
Soaked and calm, Serena calls Chloe, the city's most notorious gold digger, to sell the mansion. Chloe is the only person who was ever good to her, and Serena once told her exactly what she thought of her life.

Arthur was driving me to my prenatal appointment when his phone rang.
The Bluetooth connected to the car's speakers, and a woman's voice filled the silence.
"I'm back. Divorce her, okay?"
Arthur didn't say a word. He just casually reached over and hit the "end call" button on the steering wheel.
I thought it was a clean, decisive rejection.
Until that very night, when his lawyer arrived at our house with divorce papers.
Looking at the suppressed emotion in his eyes, I calmly signed my name and asked, "Do you need me to move out tonight?"
