From the back cover

Liam Carter has amnesia. He has forgotten that he is gay, and he has forgotten Alex, the boyfriend who once chased him for half a year before Liam finally kissed him and pulled him back. The doctors hold out almost no hope that his memory will return, and the life the two of them slowly built together has been reset to zero.

Liam's mother, who once opposed the relationship, now pleads with Alex to let her son go and live a normal life. Alex erases the chat records, deletes the photo albums, tells their mutual friends, and returns Liam's belongings to the Zhou family. At the office he pretends to be a mere colleague, keeping a private list of Liam's flaws, telling himself that when the list reaches fifty he will finally be able to let go.

But Liam's body seems to remember what his mind cannot: a sudden embrace, a hand that pulls Alex close, a familiar warning about non-dairy creamer. Alex counts the flaws and finds that none of them can erase Liam's weight in his heart.

Inside the book Opening excerpt

My boyfriend, Liam, got amnesia.

He forgot he was gay. He forgot me.

Chasing him was the hardest thing I've ever done, and I didn't plan on doing it again.

Coincidentally, his mother also hoped he could return to his "original" life.

I compromised and went back to being a stranger in his life.
