For five years, Chloe lived deep undercover inside an enemy intelligence network. When her cover was blown, she did the unthinkable to survive: she betrayed the man she loved, Arthur Vance. He escaped the ambush by the skin of his teeth, dragging a mangled, ruined leg behind him, and when he was awarded the Medal of Honor, he hobbled to the podium on crutches. Asked for a final request, he said only: bring Chloe back, and execute her.

The agency raided the enemy compound but found no trace of Chloe, only a single VHS tape left for Arthur alone. Now a General, he scoffs at it as evidence of her crimes, until the aide notes the envelope bore his name. The tape shows Chloe stripped bare, whipped, her teeth gone, her hand severed, refusing to talk, insisting she will never betray her country and does not regret letting Arthur go. Arthur calls it a sympathy play, yet his knuckles whiten and he crashes to the floor.

As the tape plays on, Chloe screams for Arthur to save her.

When he was awarded the Medal of Honor, Arthur hobbled up to the podium on crutches.

The commander asked him if he had any final requests the agency could fulfill for him.

His eyes were as cold as a frozen lake. His thin, hard lips parted to say:

"Bring Chloe back."

"And execute her."

Consequently, the agency raided the entire enemy compound but found no trace of me.

All they found was a single VHS tape, left specifically for Arthur.

When Arthur received the tape, he scoffed with pure disgust.
