Then the shop's arrogant owner arrives to collect his car, and a pair of familiar white stilettos follows him in. Anna, who always claimed to be allergic to motor oil, stands beside the young man, calling him her husband and telling Arthur to keep quiet. She leaves a bank card and orders him to service the owner's car from now on.

Walking home through the rain, Arthur finally understands: Anna was never allergic to motor oil, only to him. When he types a message ending things, a screech of brakes changes everything, and Anna's confession of who she really is leaves him with one question she cannot answer.
