A flight attendant has spent a year married to Carter, a wealthy man she was pushed into marrying by his grandfather. He never loved her, comes home only about once a month, and each time he flies, he brings a different glamorous woman. On board, she must serve him and his companion without revealing that the airline's most elite passenger is her husband.

When he tells her he will agree to a divorce at any time, she can only nod. On a flight to LAX, as the plane begins its descent, she leans close and whispers that she agrees to the divorce and has tomorrow off. That night he comes home early, and as she packs her things, he tells her she can keep the house.
