As she leaves, colleagues whisper that she got what she deserved, led by Zara Carter. Avery smashes a commemorative mug and retreats to pack. Regina then appears, claiming the bonus was earned on merit and announcing the office will soon be hers. Grant Jefferson didn’t even bother to look up.

“Ms. Sanderson, I’ve looked into it,” he said coolly. “Most of the core code for the game was written by Regina Addison.
