Love Returns to the Sea

From the back cover

Felicia Hoffman has spent six years married to Troy and more than ten rounds of IVF trying to give them a child. When she finally conceives, she discovers he has been celebrating a three-year anniversary with his secretary, Louise Clover, who flaunts their affair openly. Alone and sick with morning sickness, Felicia decides to end the pregnancy and leave Houston for Chicago, where her assistant Charlie once worked for her.

A storm delays her flight for three days, and Troy unexpectedly returns home, claiming he rushed back because she fears thunder. Yet his tenderness cannot erase the lingerie she found, the nights he spent with Louise, or the cruel messages he sent. When he demands to know where she is going and who will pick her up, Felicia must decide how much of her plan to reveal.

Before she leaves, she intends to give Troy one last gift.
