At the hospital for his father's sixty-fifth birthday, Mark hides that the bride has changed. The old man insists on buying a gold bracelet for the bride, though his heart is weak. While Mark steps away, a stranger in a designer jacket screams that the old man spilled water on him and demands fifty thousand dollars, threatening violence.
