When Sebastian refuses to correct the insult, Aurora takes the microphone and vows to marry the waiter, then asks him herself. He accepts.

Aurora was kidnapped at twelve and returned a year ago to a family that kept Sophie at its centre; her parents urge her to call the engagement a prank, and Sebastian, who once loved her, now pursues Sophie. Tired of fighting for their affection, she says nothing.
