My Backstabbing Wife's Twist of Fate

From the back cover

After learning that his in-laws have been in a car accident, Patrick calls his wife Jennifer Novak, a forensic specialist, again and again. It is only on the eightieth call that she answers, annoyed that he is interrupting Justin Miller's birthday celebration. When he tells her that Mom, Dad, and Sis have died, she coldly asks what his family's deaths have to do with her and refuses to help with the funeral.

Jennifer spends the day with Justin, posting intimate photos and buying him expensive gifts with Patrick's money. Meanwhile, Patrick learns from surveillance footage that the driver who killed her family was Justin himself. He requests an autopsy and freezes her cards, and when she furiously confronts him, he realises she still does not know that the dead are her own parents.
