My Innocent Girl

From the back cover

The cold boss of The Brown Association has suddenly turned warm for someone. That someone is none other than his own personal assistant. He never thought in his wildest dreams that someone who is not the richest, not the best, not the prettiest can steal his heart, but damn, for him, she is the most beautiful girl. He slowly fell for her so deep that he was ready to do anything to get her, and if not, then he will be broken.

After many heartbreaks, he finally gave up on her. She reciprocated the feelings, but only for a few days. What was that, anyway? Continued working, he turned completely cold-even more than he was before-to everyone, including her.

Knowing what has caused him to return to his older self with an, even more, worse condition, she decided to make up for it. But it was too late. He had someone who'd love him back, and not leave him when he needed her the most.

Misunderstandings are a part of their, or pretty much, any, love story. They were sad and broken, still, they were finding their happiness through walking over the shattered pieces of their heart. She was not the same either.

And then it happened. The truth.

She did everything she could to save him. Maybe that was the thing. The thing he wanted because she was there this time when he needed her.

But what proves that she will not leave him now?

The answer could be trust, but that was long gone between them.

Frustrated by him not being able to trust her, she decided to do the thing he had never thought. Hell, no one ever thought of it.

He had to face the consequences. And, he did.
