Returning to the Day of My Boyfriend's Accident

From the back cover

Victoria has lived this day before. As she prepares for a career-defining audition, her boyfriend Daniel insists on bringing her forgotten script. In her past life, she gave up the audition to rush to his side after a car accident, only to learn the crash was staged to clear her path for Rita, his childhood friend. When Victoria uncovered the truth, Daniel locked her in a car and left her to bleed to death.

Now she is back on the morning of the accident. When the hospital calls, she asks coldly if he is dead, then walks into the audition. Rita, who has just finished, is startled to see her. Victoria's performance earns the directors' approval, but at the hospital Daniel demands she hand the role to Rita as thanks for saving his life. He claims a minor scrape required surgery.

Victoria slaps his medical report onto his cast and exposes his lie: the script in her bag was swapped, and his injury is fake. She walks out, determined to reclaim the life he stole.
