Returning to the Day of My Boyfriend's Accident Chapter 2

As I entered, Rita had just finished her audition and went out. She spoke eagerly, still with a bit of surprise in her voice, "Victoria? Why are you still here?" I chuckled, "I'm here for the audition too. Where else should I be?" Rita frowned and asked again before I stepped inside, "I heard Daniel had a car accident. Aren't you going to see him?" I turned back and scoffed, "I'm his girlfriend, right? How come you know more about what's going on with him than I do?" She heard the sarcasm in my voice and explained, "Daniel and I are neighbors, so I naturally know more about him than you. I heard he got into the accident because of you. He's in the hospital now, and you don't care about his life or death and still want to audition. It seems like you don't love him much." Before I could respond, the staff inside urged me to come in. I walked past Rita and entered the room. Because of my extensive preparation and Rita's lack of acting talent, the audition went smoother than I expected. After the audition, I noticed the approving glances from the directors.
