Dylan Baxter's coworker Stanley Graham announces a department birthday feast for their boss, Landon Todd, at what he believes is Dylan's family seafood restaurant. Stanley chips in 99 dollars, then 100 more, and signs up over fifty colleagues who demand lobster, king crab, and free gift bags. Dylan insists his family only runs Baxter Diner next door; the seafood place belongs to Charles Marsh, their neighbor.

A secretly filmed clip of Dylan greeting the seafood restaurant's hostess convinces the group chat that he is lying to dodge hosting. Stanley pins the location anyway, and Landon praises Stanley's team spirit while ignoring Dylan's photos of the diner's license and sign.

With the party set for Saturday and no one listening, Dylan faces a bill and a crowd he never agreed to serve.

He starts counting dishes on his fingers. "We need lobster and king crab. The fish has to be a fresh-killed red snapper. Don't skimp on the appetizers, and keep the beer and sodas flowing. Oh, and keep an eye on the shellfish. Mr. Todd has gout. Do a good job.
