After collaborating with the hottest pop star in the country, I was cyberbullied by his rabid "girlfriends" to the brink of quitting the industry.

One night, drunk out of my mind, I started a livestream and went to war with the haters:

That was when the new transfer student, a pale, skinny, shy boy, was seated next to me.

He had brought a hamster. Seeing me devastated, he whispered, "Do you want to pet it?"

I cried harder. "Waaah!"

He panicked. "Don't cry! I... I didn't mean to make you sad."

I wailed like a siren. The whole class stared.

Terrified he’d gotten in trouble, he frantically wiped my tears with his hamster (gently).

"Please stop crying. If it makes you feel better... I... I can be your pet?"

I sniffled. "Really?"

He nodded vigorously. "Really."

"What animal do you like?"

I thought about it. My neighbor had a Golden Retriever that always licked my hand. It was cute.

"Dog. I like dogs."

He looked serious. "Okay. I'll be your dog!"
