Taming the Alpha: The Pop Star Who Became My Puppy Chapter 2

After acquiring a dog, I became insufferable.

I bragged to everyone: "Look, this is my dog."

Liam stood behind me, head down, shyly letting my classmates inspect him.

A kid laughed at me. "You can't tell the difference between a person and a dog? You're weird."

He held out his hand, showing off a small turtle. "My pet is way cuter than your... whatever that is."

Stung, I snapped back. "Cute? So what! Can your turtle bark? Can it understand English?"

I threw a Jolly Rancher across the room and patted Liam on the butt.

"Fetch, boy!"

Liam’s ears turned red. He shuffled over, picked up the candy, and placed it in my palm.

"Good boy!"

I patted his head and waved the candy triumphantly.

The turtle kid looked like he was about to cry. "Big deal."

Oh, you want more?

I looked at Liam. "Sit!"

Liam squatted down next to my leg, rubbing his head against my palm.

"Woof," he whispered.

I unwrapped the candy and fed it to him.

"Such a good puppy."

Liam’s face was bright red as he ate the candy, sticking close to my leg for safety.

The other kids were stunned. A talking dog? A dog that followed complex commands?

Suddenly, the turtle looked like a rock.

Liam was an excellent dog. If I said sit, he sat. If I said paw, he gave me his hand.

Within days, other kids approached Liam, asking if he wanted to be their dog.

Liam, dressed in his pristine uniform, holding a pencil, looked up coldly.

"F*** off."

I was thrilled. He was loyal only to me.

Good boy!

To reward him, I gave him my secret stash of snacks.

"Take these, and you can only be my dog forever."

Blushing, he accepted the tribute. "Then... you can only have me as your dog."

I agreed instantly. "Deal!"

My cousin, Sam, walked by and saw the exchange. His eyes went wide with horror.
