From the back cover

Sabrina Santiago has been blind for sixteen years, ever since the accident that took her parents. In her pack, the yearly full-moon mating celebration is a time of hope, but Sabrina hides in the woods and paints, certain that no mate will want a blind Luna. This year is different: the Alpha's son is returning, and Sabrina's sister Linda is turning eighteen and eager to find her mate.

When Sabrina stumbles into a stranger named Jasper in the woods, he pulls her into the celebration she has always avoided. There, a growl and an alluring scent reveal her mate: Alpha Ace ray d king. He commands her to look at him, and when the crowd tells him she is blind, he rejects her before everyone, calling her useless and weak.

Ace's own world is shadowed too: weeks earlier, an accident took the sight of a woman named Lucia, who sits beside him at the hospital. Two wounded souls, one cruel rejection, and a bond neither can simply walk away from.

PROLOGUE

The disastrous part of acting strong is that nobody cares to ask if you are okay, if somebody treats you badly! Remember that there is something wrong with them, not you, because normal people see the beauty inside you and not the thing outside.
