THE GILDED CAGE : The honey blood heiress

From the back cover

Thalia-Vesper has always been invisible. Blue jumper with a hole, $28.50 an hour, and a strange hammer-shaped scar on her waist that glows gold.

Until the night she signs a LIFE contract in biro at 2:41 AM between two coffins.

Now she is PROPERTY OF VANCE LEGACY HOLDINGS. The most dangerous family in Perth wants her blood. Kaelen Vance, the massive, scarred Alpha who killed his uncle with a hammer, says her scar makes her Luna, not breeding stock. But Silas Vance, who owns 51% of her, says her red dress that can be torn will summon her at 10 AM.

She is taken to Blackwood Winery Estate - a gothic timber mansion beautiful cage where the bars are inside the windows. Where karri trees are 70 meters tall. Where mist makes the vineyard a circle with no escape. And where something paces above her room - an apex predator caged since 1891.

She thought the cage was to keep her in. It's to keep THEM out.
