The Man Lost In the Snow

From the back cover

Three years after her fiancé Ethan vanished in a mountain blizzard, Lexie William stumbles into a solo art exhibition and finds him alive, adjusting a scarf around another woman's neck. Every portrait on the walls is of Jane Green, the woman who rescued him after his fall. His closest friend Timothy Hansen, who helped her through the aftermath, finally admits the truth: Ethan survived, lost his memory, and chose to stay away. Ethan himself is cold and distant, insisting Jane is the one he loves and that his past with Lexie is a life he no longer remembers.

Lexie has spent those years in despair, selling their home to fund a private rescue team, developing severe bipolar disorder, and bearing scars from her own hands. She tells Ethan she will leave him in the past too, and walks out. But when a client meeting brings them face to face again, Ethan notices the scars on her wrist and presses her, and the careful distance between them begins to crack.

As Jane rushes in to pull him away, Lexie must decide what remains of a decade of love when the man who lived it refuses to remember.
