But death reveals the truth: Chloe had been unfaithful, the child was not Travis's, and she engineered the miscarriage to escape his violence and make a scapegoat of her friend.

Reborn at the park on the same day, the narrator decides to rewrite fate. She calls Travis and Kyle, the real father, luring both men toward the park while cheerfully encouraging Chloe onto every thrill ride. At the giant pendulum, Chloe's terror and humiliation unfold in front of a stunned crowd.

My best friend got pregnant and dragged me to an amusement park.

I was worried about her health and advised her against the extreme rides, but she accused me of "discriminating against pregnant women" and deliberately picked the wildest ones.

She ended up miscarrying on a roller coaster. The baby didn't make it.

In front of her steroid-raging, roid-monster boyfriend, she threw me under the bus, claiming I forced her to go on the rides.

The Roid Monster lost it and punched me twice in the temple. I died on the spot.
