Dissected by My Fiance After Death

From the back cover

A year ago, Samantha Lester was a rising star in the legal world, until she uncovered evidence that her fiance's first love, Christina Smith, had caused a fatal hit-and-run. Christina lured Samantha to an abandoned factory, destroyed her face, and pushed her into a toxic asphalt pit, leaving her to drown. Samantha was pregnant with her fiance's child when she died.

After her death, her fiance Joshua Stewart claimed she had taken money from a murderer and fled the country, turning her into a pariah while he and Christina walked down the aisle. Now, a year later, Samantha's body is found in the asphalt pit as the factory is demolished, and Joshua is the one performing her autopsy.

As Joshua dissects her body, he discovers the fetus and discusses his plans for a child with Christina, while Samantha's spirit watches. Her mother still demands to see Joshua, and he dismisses Samantha as a lawyer with no conscience. Samantha's fury grows, knowing she was innocent and that Christina was the true culprit.
