The drug surges, and the text warns that falling into Kaelen's arms will bring ruin, while Julian, the untouchable ice prince, secretly treasures her.

Desperate and burning, Elara flees to Julian's suite and knocks. He opens the door, cool and reserved, yet his concern slips through as he touches her forehead. The text insists his coldness hides a consuming devotion, and Elara must decide whether to trust the warnings and the man she has never dared approach.
