The man is Harrison Vance, who lost his sight in an accident and whose recovery timeline is unpredictable. For two years Mia lives as Lily, learning Harrison's habits and anniversaries, until the day his bandages come off and his sight returns. Evelyn pays Mia a million dollars and tells her it is time for the sisters to return to their rightful places. Lily takes back her role, warning Mia to wear a mask in public, and Mia hands over a notebook recording everything about her life with Harrison, keeping the original for herself.

Standing in the audience as Harrison announces his wedding to Lily, Mia fights back tears and claps for their love story, no longer sure whether she was Mia or Lily.
