Liam wants to keep the kitten, but says his partner is afraid of cats. That partner turns out to be Wes, Luna's old nemesis from the group home, who calls strays filthy and demands Liam choose between him and the cat. Luna, unable to speak, can only swipe, hiss and beg.

One year after her death, her ex and her enemy share a bed. Luna is determined to make Liam adopt her, and to find out what really happened.
