Moments before the ceremony, Chloe's mother confronts her in the bridal suite: the guests' tables are set with cheap beer and generic chicken, while Liam's family is served top-shelf whiskey, premium steak and lobster. Chloe is stunned, since she paid the hotel in full for the same premium package at every table.
Liam then admits he quietly told the manager to downgrade her family's twenty-one tables to the basic package, so money would be left over from her mother's budget for a vacation with his parents. When Chloe demands he restore the premium menu, he refuses, and his mother Martha bursts in and slaps her, demanding to know whether she still intends to marry into the family.
With the guests already seated and her relatives and her father's business clients waiting outside, Chloe must decide how to answer.
