The Vodka Cooler Catastrophe

From the back cover

During a record heatwave at university military training, the class monitor has prepared herbal supplements and electrolyte tablets for everyone. But Bella (Wang Yuxin), the class beauty, unveils her family's secret Cooling Drink, made with Spirytus vodka at ninety-six percent alcohol. In a previous life, the monitor warned the class and Bella died, leaving a note that blamed her; the monitor was then locked in a sweltering basement by her boyfriend Kevin (Wu Chongnan) and the others until she died of heatstroke. Now she has been reborn on the very day the drink appears, and this time she says nothing, smiling and praising Bella instead.

As the class gulps the spiked drinks and pressures her to join, Bella pours extra vodka into her cup. The monitor must survive the heat, the instructor's whistle, and Kevin's open contempt without repeating the warning that once destroyed her. She claims severe cramps and asks to sit out, her face pale from the memory of her death.
