During the hottest week of boot camp training, the "Class Beauty" decided to help everyone beat the heat with her family's secret recipe for a "Cooling Drink."

I saw her making it. I knew the secret ingredient was 96% ABV Spirytus Vodka.

Drinking that kind of high-proof alcohol in extreme heat is basically a death wish.

I tried my best to stop her, urging everyone to take heatstroke medication instead.

But no one listened. Even my own boyfriend thought I was just jealous and trying to steal her spotlight.

Helpless, I told everyone the truth.

The class was furious. Not only did they refuse the drink, but they also turned on the Class Beauty for being so reckless.

She was ostracized. Unable to handle the isolation, she left a suicide note blaming everyone and ended her life.

After her death, the whole class blamed me. They said I drove her to it.

To avenge her, my boyfriend and the rest of the class locked me in a sweltering, unventilated basement until I died of heatstroke.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day she brought out that deadly drink.

This time, I smiled brightly and gave her a thumbs up.

"Wow! That cooling drink looks so refreshing!"

Listening to Bella (Wang Yuxin) speak, I suddenly realized—I had been reborn.

I was back at the start of our university's mandatory military training (boot camp).

We were hit with a rare heatwave. The news was full of stories about heatstroke and heat exhaustion, so everyone was terrified of getting sick.

As the Class Monitor, I had prepared ahead of time, buying herbal supplements and electrolyte tablets for everyone.

Bella, always needing to be the center of attention, stayed up all night to make her "Cooling Drink." It looked icy and delicious, and the whole class was eager to try it.

In my past life, I stopped them.

I knew her "secret family recipe" was just some cocktail mix she found online. It was loaded with Spirytus—96% alcohol by volume. Drinking that under the blazing sun was a recipe for disaster.

Because of me, everyone took the meds instead and got through training safely. But they were angry at Bella for trying to poison them, so they isolated her.

Bella couldn't handle being ignored. She staged a fake suicide attempt for sympathy, but it went wrong, and she actually died.

She left a letter claiming the drink had no alcohol and that I made it all up out of jealousy. Even though I tried to explain, my boyfriend, Kevin (Wu Chongnan), slapped me across the face.

"Would Bella use her life to frame you?!" he screamed. "We don't want to hear your excuses. Go explain it to Bella in hell!"

Remembering the despair and pain of my death, I made a decision right then and there.

I wasn't going to save these ungrateful idiots this time.
