When the Plane Crashed, My Pilot Husband Directly Snatched My Life Jacket Away

From the back cover

When the plane begins to break apart, a pilot named Samuel tears the life jacket from his wife Chloe and pins her against the emergency exit, using her body to shield his first love, Olivia, from the flames. This is not the first time: in a previous life he pushed Chloe out to die and married Olivia the next day, only to regret it before his own death. Now, given another chance, he chooses Olivia again, binding Chloe to the disintegrating exit with a safety rope.

Chloe survives, rescued from the sea by a passing surgeon, and wakes in a hospital surrounded by reporters. The airline refuses to release its passenger list, and Samuel tells the public that Chloe boarded illegally under his name. He is hailed as a hero, while she is blamed and harassed online. Samuel and Olivia give interviews claiming she obstructed the rescue out of jealousy.

Samuel visits Chloe with Olivia and demands she take the blame in an interview, threatening divorce if she refuses. Chloe knows the black box has not yet been found, and that once it is, everything will be clear.
