From the back cover
Her brother insists his IQ is 180 and that no woman deserves to bear his children. After driving his wife away, he boasts that he can get pregnant on his own, and that the child will be a boy. Days later, his belly swells and there is even fetal movement. Common sense says men cannot conceive, so she drags him to a hospital, where an ultrasound reveals his belly is full of octopus tentacles. She begs for emergency surgery to save his life, but he and their mother accuse her of killing a divine child. In a rage, they hack her to death.
She opens her eyes again, returned to the time when her brother was pregnant. Her mother demands all her earnings for the coming expenses, and her brother lounges on the sofa, smug. Remembering how they killed her, she hands over her bank card without a fight and plays the obedient daughter, secretly waiting for his self-destruction.
